Sorry still no pics still no camera!

It is cold here in SC. OK not as cold as some parts of the country but for us, with the rain, it feels cold. Boo Hoo!

I have finished block #11 except for the background of Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow. I have made just a small start on #10 (one crown). I am stuck on Block #2 of the Vof HRH but promise to get back to it soon. I have already placed my order for Autumn at Hawk Run Hollow. I have seen 3 pics so far and just love it. They are on Kathy's blog Carriage House Samplings & Mo Jewelry and they are wonderful.

I am off the pick up grandson, Sebastian, soon and pick up dinner later. He told me yesterday he wants Chinese lo mein noodles and I will have my usual chick and broc and maybe as a treat I'll get their donuts.

I have another week to go until my husband gets here for a visit. Paul and I haven't seen each other since Dec 31 when I left Ohio to beat the snow. SC is enjoying much better weather even if it is raining again better than snow and ice. We did have some ice last weekend but just 1 evening and morning. We can live with that!

Happy Stitching and stay warm!
Susan

  1. Hi Susan - you recently left a comment on my blog, so I came over to yours and see that you've just started one! Congratulations! It will be fun to watch your progress on your HRH pieces. I've started Houses of HRH, Village of HRH and Shores of HRH. I've only finished through Block #5 on Houses, Block #1 on Village and am working on Block #5 of Shores. I'd love to buy Christmas and Autumn, but it feels criminal to do that when I've got those other three sitting there.

I'll add you to my bloglist so that I can keep up with your progress!

  3. Hi Susan, thank you so much for leaving a comment on my blog :o) I can'twait to see pictures of your Works in Progress! My, you're doing a lot of Hawk Run Hollows! I can't seem to get past my third block on the Village, but I love them all. Those Hawk Run Hollows are, by the way, BAPs. And a BAP stands for exactly what you think it stands for!! That's why we use the abbreviation :o)

Good luck with your blog. I will be following you!

  5. Cool! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I did the same thing -- I stopped stitching for a long while for quilting, then went back to stitching big time. Now I'm starting to think about quilting again! lol! It's amazing how much things change when you leave a craft for a while.

  7. Hi Susan! I'm the same as you and Margaret. Stitched, then went into quilting, then back to stitching. I'd love to get back into quilting but don't know if I can do both. It's the obsessive/compulsive thing in my personality that gets me! I hope you'll post some pics soon of your work, I'd love to see it!

  8. A Summer Ball is by Sandy Littlejohns, a British designer. It's just now become available again. It's HUGE, but worth the time.
